Wood is a wonderful substance; it's warm
and easy to work with. You can bend
wood; you can carve it, glue it, and
paint it. The wood seems to like being
worked with, and I certainly love to
work with wood! |

habib slimani |
|
The exhibition we present to you was created
after thorough sorting and in-depth observation
of Habibs work, in order to find a common
theme for all of the artwork you see. Since our
connection with Habib is so discontinuous we
can't know for certain his thoughts and feelings
in making this artworks. |
|
We
asked his permission to have a free hand in
collecting this exhibition, combining his
thoughts with the feelings they inspired in us.
This blending formed the basis for creating the
exhibition... |
